In compliance with art. 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree n. 196 dated 30th June 2003, the Consorzio per l’AREA di ricerca scientifica e tecnologica di Trieste (further on mentioned as “AREA”) informs you that all handling of personal data voluntarily provided will be used only for the purpose of the Tetris project. Personal data will be handled by subjects collaborating with the Training - Project Designing and Managing Department of AREA that is the only holder of the data processing. Your data will be processed manually and by other digital means for the purpose of the management of the TETRIS web site and for the promotion of project activities. The data may also be communicated to the project partners: Università degli Studi di Firenze, Fachhochschule Kaernten, Siemens AG, Harry Flosser Studios, Jelgavas regionalais Pieauguso izglitibas centrs, European Institute for Energy Research, Istituto Tecnico Industriale Arturo Malignani, Hohere Technische Bundeslehranstalt-Wolfsberg, Jelgavas 1. gimnazija, Stenum, ACC Austria Gmbh and to the European Commission, EACEA Agency . and to third parties performing duties strictly connected with and instrumental to the Tetris project management.
Providing AREA with your personal data is not compulsory. Any denial to do so however may carry as consequence the impossibility for you to be registered in Tetris website and to download the documents available for the registered users.
With regard to the above mentioned processing, a person submitting his/her data may exercise the rights provided by Article 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree n. 196 dated 30th June 2003:
Article 7 - Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights
- The Data Subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not his/her personal data are available, regardless of their being already recorded, and to obtain communication of such data in intelligible form.
- The Data Subject has the right to be informed:
a) about the source of his/her personal data;
b) about the purposes and methods of processing;
c) about the logic applied to the processing, and if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
d) about identification concerning data controllers, data processors and representatives described above;
e) about the entity, or categories of entities to whom, or which personal data may be communicated, and who, or which may access said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) within the national territory, as data processor(s) or personnel in charge of processing. - The Data Subject has the right to obtain:
a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of data;
b) erasure, or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they were collected, or subsequently processed;
c) certification that operations as per letters a) and b) have been completed in relation to data contents, including by entities to whom, or which the data were communicated, or disseminated, unless said request proves impossible, or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right that is to be protected. - The Data Subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection.
b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, in the instance it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials, or of direct selling, or for marketing or commercial survey collections.
