Since its formation, CUAS has developed into a unique educational institution in Carinthia. It represents one of the biggest Italian technical high schools as far as the number of students is concerned. There are about 2,000 students divided into six specialisations: Electrotechnics, Electronics, Aeronautics, Mechanics, House Building and Scientific/Technological High School. Students have a 36 hour-per-week timetable, half of the sessions deal with general culture while the other half deals with technical subjects.

Our higher technical college offers technical and vocational education and training. Our advanced-level secondary vocational school starts after the eighth year of schooling; after five years of education and a successful school-leaving exam, the pupils get a Certificate of Secondary Education and TVE-Diploma. After three years of vocational practice the alumni can apply for the title of engineer. For our 500 students we are offering 2 Departments : Mechanical Engineering focusing on Automation and Mechatronics & artificial material technology and Business Engineering specializing in Information Technology & Business Management.

These partners have joined TETRIS after the end of the project and volunteered in translating the training materials in new languages and in disseminating TETRIS in their country.
